the idea of 'classes' of players is cool, and would work very well in a pro-match where people (usually
) stick to their roles.

Well essentially the classes I suggested weren't quite classes as such that they would alter physics and such.
Every player would still be equal, and if a goalhanger feels like wearing a keeper outfit or a sweeper feels like wearing an attacker outfit..that should be fine.

personally the main reason i Havent played this game in the last 6 months or so is just because i dont like being forced to use skins that someone else thinks makes the game "look distinctive"..havent done a d/l since 1.9 and havent played it since..not trying to flame here ..but just the way i feel..

You're right but graphics is what attracts people to the game.
If you've got shitty skins, no one's going want to play. Same thing goes with gameplay, if you don't have good gameplay then no one's gonna wanna play.
We have good gameplay, but now we just need the old skins back to give DB its zest again. 2.4 + ut2k4 skins would be so elite. No other game would come close to its fun level

having everyone the same model does not help gameplay, because gameplay would be knowing who someone is by what they look like

i agree with what Insane said.
I partially agree with CorDawg too.
Differentiating between the players IS important, but thats what the customisations were for in the previous version.
However, imo the customisations looked pants.
