ok while working on futiles riddle...

RIDDLE #5 -

<-- there is a horde of bunnies, that is ruled by an evil crazy buddny.
one day he decides to play a game...
all the bunnies are gathered together for briefing.

he will place all the bunnies in a row, with all heads in one direction. (to the front of the row, back to face)
then he shall put a red, green, or blue hat at random on each bunny.
then he shall ask each bunny, starting from the last, for the color of the hat on their heads.
they may answer once only, if they are wrong, they will be executed on the spot.
the bunnies may consoult once before the game to decide what they can do to survive.

what is the course of action they should take,
so the least bunnies will die?
how many will it be then?

- they don't see their own hat.
- they may not look anywhere but to the front
- they may only say one word (preferably the color of their hat)
- the number of bunnies in the hord is not relevant.
make that a 1000 if you ensist.
- no. the evil bunny does not participate. he does the executing. -->

ah it's the hat riddle. quite famous, although i've usually heard the version with only 2 colors.

@Futile: does the lamp have a limited lifetime?

I know how to do Number 1, what should i do?

I have a good one, its logic:
Riddle 6:

There was this class that learned everyday with the same teacher.
On one monday the teacher said that in one day, on the following week, the class will have a pop quiz. That means that the pop quiz will be either on teusday, wendsday, thursday or friday.
Then, a one of the students stood up and said to the teacher that it won't be a pop quiz. The teacher thought for a few seconds and said he's right.

How did the student know?

*Like I said, the riddle is a logic one. The answer isnt stupid.

Hmm......... #1, 2, 3 are riddles I've all seen before. #4 looks pretty hard. #5 is familiar but I don't have much of an idea how to do it. #6 seems trivial, looks like it's a matter of how you define a certain word.
