to be a world champion, you have to beat competitors from all over the world
doesn't the superbowl only have american teams in?
Correct.
I've never heard of the SuperBowl winners called "World Champions".
Not sure where David heard that term used. Either he misheard it or it was translated incorrectly, or the newscaster was under the impression that is what it was called.
They are Superbowl Champions not World Champions.
Unless ofcourse the Americans have changed that.. and I haven't heard about it yet (we are kind of a conceited bunch over here..so nothing would surprise me)
And I agree.
Very typical of Americans. Most Americans feel they are superior to everyone on the planet.
I must not be a "true American" though because I don't think that way. *shrugs*

I agree. Most americans speak something along the lines of "moronish" (especially those under 25 years old)
That's freakishly true. I had the horrifying experience a few weeks ago of having a "conversation" with somebody who was speaking "English," and eventually realizing I had no idea what they were speaking about.
But I don't think that half of all Americans are like that, at least I hope so. Because that would be pretty disturbing.
A lot of Dutch people are very stupid as well, and bad at their own language.
A lot of English people are very stupid as well, and bad at their own language.
A lot of French people are very stupid as well, and bad at their own language.
etc.
etc.
The USA isn't the only country with stupid people so stop dissing on your own countrymen like it's something special! >:(
