ps: Imo, truth is something we will likely not obtain, maybe we will some time, but not likely in this lifetime

So people fill in their own truth.
The problems come from people's truths colliding with eachother.
Old theologies like that of the egyptians or the greeks were a lot more tolerant.
There are stories of Egyptian princes travelling to countries like Babylon and taking dieties home just 'because they liked them a lot', even though it was technically another belief system.
The problem started when people started saying: "No, there's only one God(/one truth) and that's our God!"
It helps if there's 'positive, undisputable evidence', because if nobody's able to reach succes in challenging that evidence (yet), this will creaty unity (= efficiency, peace, etc.; pick what's important to you

I have a rather utilistic approach to society as a system - though it's a personal question whether you prefer society to thrive or to look for your own happiness outside of so called (economic) 'succes').
In the end people will (likely for a long time, if not forever) always think differently about the truth though.
I'm ok with people hanging on to their beliefs, and even if they feel happy changing it around to fill up the gaps between 'positive, undisputable evidence', that's ok with me
Even if Christianity
is a matter of ignorance, if ignorance means bliss for them: Why would I want them to change?
pps: Why do I always write post-scriptums that are longer than the actual posts?
