What about surrounding the field with glass in Woodlands? Like in Tribun.

If a add a sheet with a glass-texture, the tree's behind the glass will disappear or will be rendered like the tree's are in front of the glass.

The sheet is Non-Solid and it's exactly on the grid (gridsize 8).

Fucking stupid IMO.

Let's see what i can do....

then you either did something wrong or your renderer is doing crap

Nope. I tried it in DB-Tribun and it's the same dumb shit.

Try it by yourself:

Open Tribun, add a tree (AntalusStatic-AntTreeGroup) behind the glass and you will see.

If you move away from the glass+tree's, you will see that the glass is normally rendered and the tree's also.

Now, if you move to the glass, you will see that the tree's will be rendered if they were before the glass.

Other organics, like grass or ferns will be rendered normally.

Direct3D, GF4Ti 4200 128mb, Detonator 44.03, DX9.0a.

It's not my fault i guess. I did a fully rebuild, but nothing helps.

its no the map, its something about your settings

i have exactly the same stuff as you and its working on tribun

I tried it again in Tribun and now it's working fine.

Tried it again in my own map, but it's still fucked up. So there must be some sort of a error hanging around there. After a fully rebuild, the editor don't give any error.

sure, something like that is not an "error"

It looks like that's not a problem that tree's are crossing each other.

I added some tree's which are crossing each other in Tribun, but they will be normally rendered.

Maybe the Volumes?

no clue, try around

Hmz, it's not the Volumes, it's not the light, it's not the fog...

I'm afraid it's has to be something with the terrain. But i can''t understand why it is, because everything is created on the way it should.

I quit right now, i need to play a match of db. I'll be back tommorow.

is it the glass brushes?
the glass texture settings?

Non-Solid 2-sided glass-sheet. Texture UCGeneric-Glass-glass01*.

Tried the other textures, but it doesn't seems to work. I tried several grate-textures, but again, it still fucked up.
