Shame, a real shame. You were/are one of the very few characters in DeathBall Cata.... but I understand what you're saying. Playing a game you don't really have the motivation to play is a boring thing (TOps was the one I got fed up with). At the moment it does seem that Deathball needs some energy pumped into it. Maybe if 2.0 does get released and some improvements in terms of gameplay, bugfixing and new maps (maybe) could do some good.

Anyway, have fun Cata. I'm sure I'll see you around in XMP and I can get some revenge for those many goals you managed to score with me hot on your heels

Well I never actually knew you Cat but I do recall bumping into you in the very early days of DB, trying to setup the Brutal Deluxe team, replicating a team from the Bitmap Brothers classic... Speedball.

Maybe after a little break, you could code a Speedball-esque mod under your own steam, where all players in the match have unique strengths and weaknesses (eg. speed, stamina, volley radius, shot power, damage power, defence etc.), which I still believe would have made a huge positive impact on DB. Imagine if those abilities could be tweaked each week, so that someone could sacrifice defence a little to get more speed.
