I think you two better argue somewhere else. You're scaring your patients!

*close eyes* This is my fault. I decided to let him in. Another mistake of me ...

*calm now*

*tries to examine the giggles but can find nothing but a searing hot temperature*

*sigh* Where on earth is my analysingthing?

*gives subligual ibuprofen drops for the fever but is otherwise at a loss* (Invented - not keen on administering suppositories unless strictly necessary!)

*climbs in a tree outside of the lab and thinks*
I should never have asked annanagram to let me use the lab

Don't be angry at him, please!
I was the one who decided to let him in.
He made some herbal stuff against the black slime that attacked me!

Annagram, it's not your fault. Just remember though, herbalist is just someone who couldn't become a proper doctor. Anyone can mix foul tasting herbs and feed them to people. These treatments almost never stand up in clinical trials; they're either non effective or poisonous.

*stares at the lab* I wonder how everything is going in there

*searches for the analysingthing*

Annagram, can you tell me a bit about what happened with the two giggles and Elsa?

This mixture saved my life several times ...

Well, that's a long story ...

*sigh* I'll be amazed if he could even tell me what he decided to give you for what condition. The placebo effect is an astonishing thing, and you're lucky he didn't make you worse. But right now, I can't help the Giggles unless I know what has happened to them.

Have to go, back in about 45 minutes :)

<----- Annanagram

I was unconscious at that time ... does placebo effect take place then?

<----Archangelica

Yes, actually it can. It's not fully understood, but it has been documented to work via endorphin signalling pathways in the brain, and who knows what else. A non-effective drug can in some cases prompt the body to correct itself.

*still staring at the lab*
from what I heard from annanagram I thought she would be nicer...
