It's not so much what you have to do, but what I have to do. As I was saying to Annanagram before, when you're alone for long enough, you learn a lot of things about yourself. I have a few tricks up my sleeve yet.
<----Morse
Very well.
*raises hand towards window, and window flies open*
*strong gust of wind enters room, carrying Morse and Kex outside*
*Lands softly on the ground with Kex*
I always knew I had the ability to control wind from a young age, because I never got blown away or cold in strong breezes. It wasn't until I had enough free time to hone my skills that I was able to do this. It often comes in handy though, and is one of the good things I got from my isolation here.
<----Morse
I feel that too. It could be another effect of the inversion.
*looks at house number*
I can't read the number without my glasses. Can you make it out?
Number? I don't see - wait - there's the level number, the big white 1! But it's not attached to the house, it's floating in the air like it always did.
*steps closer*
*starts to sweat* Really hot here -
<----Morse
That's the level number, not the house number. Are you okay? You're really sweaty.
*sends a cool breeze in the direction of Kex to cool her down*
Maybe we should wait this out until Angelica wakes up. She can reverse the effects of the house.
Yeah - maybe that's better - *tries to get a look behind the lamp over the door* - That looks like - *has to walk backwards due to increasing heat* - No chance now! I can't decipher it from here! *sighs*
<----Morse
It's ok, we have plenty of time to find this stuff out.
*picks up a strong wind and carries both people back to the house*
Want some ice water? You look like you're burning up!
<----Morse
*brings back two glasses of ice water*
*downs own glass in one gulp*
*hands Kex other glass*
Here.
*takes Nalgene out of backpack, and fills it with water*
*cools it down with an icy breeze, then takes a few sips*
Looks like I'm pretty thirsty too!
