*softly* "Lilith was a possible vampire from the ancient Hebrew Bible and its interpretations. Although she is described in the book of Isaiah, her roots are more likely in Babylonian demonology. Lilith was a monster who roamed at night taking on the appearance of an owl. She would hunt, seeking to kill newborn children and pregnant women. Naturally, she was considered evil for such "radical" desires and became a vampire who eventually attacked the children of Adam and Eve -- namely, all human descendants.
Lilith is the first Demon-Vampire and probably the most powerful. She is the Queen of the Vampires, the progenitor of all Lilith-vampires. Her demonic abilities include raining down the plagues (fire, hail, locusts, frogs, and so forth). She can also transform into an owl form. She has an especially strong connection to magick, so she has innumerable other tricks. In addition, as the First Vampire she commands the loyalty of all vampires, considering all of them, even those of other lineages, under her authority. The other lineages may object, but they still have to face her power and wrath."

(that's actually a really big co-incidence! Very peculiar. I knew a slightly different story about lilith - no vampires. )

Was curious from day one and looked up the name....found several different legends but this one finally fit.

I didn't need... human blood *finds it hard to say* before I got big! Before animals and things were fine! I only just found this out a few days ago!

Any idea why it was so hard for kex's wounds to stop bleeding?

What's the difference between human or angelic blood and that of animals?
