*smiles* The mice? How are they doing? These were the ones you gave that treatment, right?

They seem absolutely fine, but they need feeding a lot.

*shows kex the cages, full of food and water*

*smiles* Oh, they are cute! *watches the mice running around*

*wakes up slowly, yawns*
*notices Annanagram still asleep*
*tries to sneak out of the hole to hunt for breakfast for 2*

*opens up the cage and grabs a mouse by the base of the tail*

*quickly pulls it out and transfers it to the other hand, holding it around the chest as it transforms into a rat*

*shows kex the rat* They do it whenever they feel threatened. One of them kept doing it just to bully the others, so he had to be isolated. They still seem to prefer being mice, though.

Wow! *takes the rat and pets it* This is amazing!

*watches as the rat, starting to feel less nervous, transforms back into a mouse*

Careful - they can be a bugger to catch when they're mice. They like being handled, though. Makes life much easier.

*giggles* Does that mean it feels good in my hands? *keeps it safely in her hands*

Yes, as long as you handle it confidently and don't make any sudden movements.

*changes the water in the cages while Kex plays with the mouse*

*sits down and watches the mouse in her hands looking around and sniffing*

Um, yes, we were playing cards. I don't know when I fell asleep though.

Just making conversation. *smiles and picks the mouse from Kex's hands* Come on, I could do with a cup of tea. Wash your hands and we can go have some breakfast. *indicates the sink*

*goes to the sink and washes her hands*

*returns the mouse to the cage, where its litter mates run up and sniff it to find out what it's been up to*

*washes her hands after kex*

*goes to the tent and puts the kettle on*
