Thats because, groups were made from random. We should have to qualify, for which seed.

Oh great, what a fantastic idea......NOT

You'd end up with one shitty team in each group who would end up completely and totally demoralised within 2 games, then quit and we'd be back to where we started. A better system would mean teams playing those of a similar level of ability like a ladder (or at least have something like this running in parallel)

league-ladder-mix. u can join the league whenever you want, u can advance to a higher division every month. It s an easy system and works pretty fine.

so what inphidel? Who said "copy the league". U could add more teams to a division, but what for? deathball doesn t have that much teams at all...

Tbh, what we really need is a competition....ANY competition. The longer we sit around arguing over the exact format, the more people will drift away out of boredom.

The REAL challenge will be getting teams back into the habit of meeting on line at specific times and playing games as arranged

unfortunately it will never happen.

I remeber when i 1st played db, there was like 4 divisions with around 8 teams in each and even that turned farcical after a while.


Now we have bout 5 teams tops, and the same bunch of clanless players making clans then folding after 2 or 3 games.
