In other news, I bought a didjeridu yesterday (or 'didgeridoo', according to everyone but the authority on it's spelling: the Australian Institute for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Studies).

It's quite fun to play on :D and I'm getting the hang of circular breathing and some cool noises etc.
(for example: http://www.didge.nl/rythem/ledelai.mp3)

Just..it was rather cheap :( and it's showing ;p there's a small fissure I'm glueing right now, it's anything but perfectly smooth from he inside, and it's made of bamboo instead of the traditional eucalypt (though that's a minor problem, since bamboo was used by some aboriginal tribes too).

Anyway, for a mere 10 euros, it's a lot of fun :D
Does anyone else of you own a didge or have you played one? (Or do you have the intentions on doing so? :D)

Sounds good! :D I don't know many people who own one !

I have tried to play em before but I didn't have the lungs for it I guess!!! So as a result of that I never took it up :D

Well technically, through circular breathing you hardly have to use your lungs for a long time :o

Haven't mastered that though :x so playing on lung capacity alone now xD tiring :p

Any of you play any instrument or whatever? (I play my bass guitar on and off too, fooling around..can't really play anything proper, let alone do it fast or clean ;p should get lessons soon)

well I kinda play some on and off as well. Mainly guitar and piano , used to play drums YEARS ago, doubt I would remember any of it now.

I want to take up spoons :D for no real reason :)
