Just opinions, doesn't really matter who is teh best, just ego i guess. A team that can play well together is better than one player who's skill level exceeds the others. One team which is more balanced out will pervail, while another will not. Deathball = team game, hence, gobby might be highlighted alot because he is the person who has to step us on a mediocre team and save their arse.

I think you're right. Different players can play a lot better with one team than another simpley because the team's style of play is different (and thus they perform more to their potential)... the team just "clicks" into play and off you go... it's a team thing rather than an individual thing (although of course there's LOTS of stuff people are a lot better at than others, like shooting, keeping, etc. it's just harder to tell people on their own because generally they're affected by those around them - a team can be more or less than the sum of its parts depending )
