tbh of the 9800pro series the 128 are the better ones (sapphire)

dont know about crucial but 70% of 256DDR cards are just lowerclocked then the 128 ones and then given more DDR to compensate the difference making it more expensive and more future dedicated .... 256 DDR is useless considering no game supports that much ram :/ so your just stuck with a lowerclocked 128 card ... SHITE !!!!!!!!

The clock is definitely not clocked lower as I've compaired it to a friend with a 128 :)


I'm now clocking at 378 (core, mem @ 351):o which is relatively low to what I had it clock at before, but I decided to turn it down and not risk wrecking it as long as i get hardly any effect because of my shitty cpu.

I have a sapphire btw :o

sapphire 9600xt 256mb with half life 2, was 4€ cheaper than the asus 9600xt 128mb with the genious 6on1 classic games collection :|

yes messy , sapphire stands for quality but your should always check the clockrate though cause ive seen some cards wich were lowerclocked
