*reaches the sea and jumps into the water*

*left behind without any source of power*

*vanishes and reappears on the beach*
*looks around*

*flies over the sea, looking for Giggle and feeling a little vulnerable, surrounded by water*

*dives and tries to follow that black shadow that kidnapped Giggle but has to give up too soon*

*sees a huge black outline under the water*

*flies towards it, trying to ignore the stench*

*to herself* I must find some way of waterproofing these bloody things

*resurfaces*
*breathes deeply several times*
*then dives again*

She emerges again with a book.

*still holding the book gets dragged down to the dark place*

*didn't hear Angelica*
*follows the black shadow as far as possible, then resurfaces again*

*sees the shadow retreat into the depths*

*no sign of Giggle anywhere*

*heads to Tinman on the beach*

*exhausted*
*looks back at the distant beach*
*sighs and starts to swim back*
