I ... well, that's hard to explain.
They are twins. They shared one body since they were just fetuses. Something happened to them when they were still unborn, and Kex was about to die. Dawn had already some mental powers and was able to rescue her sister's soul.
Well ... many things happened since then, and Dawn seemingly forgot almost everything. She just thought Kex was stealing her body.
Now we found a body for Dawn, since Kex couldn't leave that body without killing it, and I just transferred her ... I didn't think she'd still be angry at Kex ... It's a quite powerful body ...

*eventually returns to her cave*
*plays around with the stuff she found to find out what they are made for*
*giggles happily every time she discovers some functions of the thing she's playing with*
