*shrugs* We children left all at once. Except the babies, there were too small to run. I don't know what happened to the grownups after that - but a big gunfight seems to have taken place up there *points*

*notices blood on her hands*
I'll tell you more when we're out, okay? This - *gestures around* - is just past. *walks over to the door*

*opens the door* Oh - *steps through and looks up* Well, up there - *points* - was the kitchen. It seems it's now down here.

I think we should get out of here as quickly and carefully as possible

*nods cautiously* Look, that axe - that house is not that old - they did it on purpose! Someone was quite angry! *finds the stairway and climbs up cautiously*
*then turns and sticks her hand out to help Derse up*

*climbs up with Kex help*
*thinking aloud* Why would someone cut down a house with an axe...?

*shrugs* I don't know. My boss was quite rude, maybe someone disliked that. *leaves the house through the backdoor*

*walks over to the shanty, grabs her wheelbarrow and moves it through the side door to the street*

*thoughtfully* I wonder what happened to all the other kids - I thought they were captured again but seemingly not. *sways a bit*
