and how do you know where they are?

*opens the hidden door* I watched him. I often watched him and his brothers. *gets some papers out* He once said, these are better than money. The person who owns these owns a certain banking account. With a depot box. *gets some small keys out* And here's the key belonging to the depot. *gives them to Kery* Here. As far as I know, he had stored a lot of valuables there, almost everything me and my friends brought home.

*nods* Yes. *grins unhappily* I mean, we lived here for years, and they sent us through the whole city to get more stuff.

So you....stole stuff?...or...

*nods* Yes. I was the one who had to open all locks, Peter and Holly were able to get through very small windows and open from inside, and Elisa was able to beg that heart-rendingly that everyone gave her more than they wanted to give. Some of the guys just came with us to protect us and carry all the stuff. *looks at Kery* Want to shoot me, too? I guess I'm the last one of us anyway -

No I don't want to shoot you....I was just wondering how you got the things.

*shrugs* Quite easily. Only few people protected their stuff good enough that we couldn't get it. We never got caught. And nobody ever saw us. *sighs* I guess the boss was happy when the school closed - no stupid questions anymore why we were so tired during the lessons! *grins* We slept almost all day long, never at night.

Sounds like my sleeping pattern lol

Oh, not that hard. I didn't sleep the first week at all. Didn't dare to. *looks into the hole again*
*gets a small ring out and puts it onto her finger*

That was Elisa's ring. She wore it on a chain around her neck when they found her, they said. They didn't manage to take it away from her the first days she was here, so they decided to leave it in her hands. *smiles* She was quite stubborn, even as a baby. But she was a good friend. *fights some tears*
*hastily leaves the room*

*dries her face and walks into another room* Oh - damn! *walks through and climbs over the piles of wooden rubbish* That - that was our dining room - where we sat together for eating - or playing - why should someone destroy everything in here?! *walks over to the fire place* Where's the rocking chair?!
