But something like that could easilly be controlled to start disasters, could it not? I don't think that a device like that is worthy of being wielded in any of our hands. It is too dangerous.

There is no chance of using it to cause disasters. It gives you all of the information you need and it only lets you use any information when there is about to be a disaster.
