Its a device that can control the universe. When it starts to beep it means that something bad is about to happen. It then gives the user four options to stop it from happening. Its basically a small box shape with a screen thats blank until it switches itself on. And it has a small button that is used to make the selection.
Derse and the sister were con artists, Derse would convince people that she was lost and tell them a story about how her family including her sister died in a fire years ago. Then she would find a way of distracting everyone while her sister stole what they wanted.

Thats the point. Things don't happen for a reason I've been trying to prove it for years and this device is the proof. I don't have the knowledge to make another one this is my calculations for where the device is. Nothing is unpredictable.
