Yes, I do have something in mind.
TinMan is just sleeping like he always does, but the girl next to him is not. Her sleep is seemingly magic-induced, and it does't seem to be really healthy for her. Look at her! She's closer to death than to life.

You mean Kex? I healed her of what was ailing her before, and aided her sleep, but she seems to get sick of her own free will. Her illnesses constantly return, and it is up to her to mentally get stronger and fight her problems herself. There is nothing I can do to help her which will not simply return.

Sure. But he used those occurrences as an excuse to not solve THIS problem
Besides that, she surely has a lot of severe problems, but that's not what the term "masochist" means. I think you should do some research on that, just in case you need it sometimes
