Can anybody make a webpage listing countries or locations where the notprOners concentration is big and offer possibility to register our name to countries where we will be ok to go?? So after a while we could choose the country or countries which have the more registers and then that would be easier to organize such a meeting !!
I'd be glad to do that but I don't have internet skills to build such a site which is certainly very simple for someone who knows a little bit about ....
Just a proposition....

Could be good but the idea is that one person can register to several countries and the map could be quickly unreadable....but besides adding a map could give a quick visual indication of motivated people !

And honestly.. I've seen this type of thing done before.
Take it from someone who has not only hosted but also attended several "get togethers" with internet friends.
It's easier to keep it small and private. {meaning.. keep the details between yourselves. don't post the date, time or place on the boards} I've seen way to many bad things happen from the larger get togethers.
Remember.. you are only reading peoples words on a screen. You don't really know the person behind the computer. And you don't know who is reading but not posting. Lots of strange people hang out at large BBs in order to find these kinds of gatherings and attend them. The results are always less than desirable.
Keep the get together at a large public place.. a restaurant is best. No bars. No private homes.
Keep the get together to around 20 people. More than that and you can't remember who attended.. let alone who people are.
Don't give out your home address nor your phone number. If you must give people a contact number use a cell phone number or use a prepaid/disposable cell so you can get rid of the number if need be.
If you guys are going to go through with something like this feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
