<<the salamander, lumbering and black, emerges from the forest close to the tent>>

*a bright silver light covers them both as Angelica's wound gets transferred*

*picks up the girl, not sure what's happening*

*eventually, the cloud around Angelica turns back to silver and finally vanishes*

*quickly tears her ruined skirt into bandages to try an stem the bleeding*
