Well, you don't need to pay for KoL, you can just play and earn enough in-game currency to get the same features in-game

lol. I'vebeen busy, not able to use the computer at home that often because my son hogs it now (he's only 4). Work's been extremely busy and that's the only time I can get on the forumn. about a month ago work started to slow down for the year though.
