*a small version of Flower appears, with black hair and a tiny black gem on her left hand*
*slowly opens her black eyes and blinks*

*amazed by this*
*cautiously takes the tiny being into her hands* <She's just two hands full!>
*takes a fruit and holds it on Flower's lips* Do you like this? Can you eat it?

*grabs the fruit with both hands and munches it slowly*
*finishes and sticks out both hands for more*

*smiles* You like strawberries, huh? How about this?
*takes a lump of minced meat and holds it on Flower's lips* Did you already grow again?

*indeed growing visibly fast*
*eats everything she gets until she's about two human feet "tall"*

You're getting heavy! *sets her on the table* I'll get you some towel for dressing. *runs*

*eats the old gem shards*
*memories of her former lives flash through her mind*
*curls up crying, eyes closed and ears covered by her hands*

*returns with the towel*
Oh, what's wrong? What happened?
*wraps little Flower into the towel and lifts her on the arms, leaning Flower on her shoulder*

*remembers how she got tricked into stabbing the girl but doesn't remember how she died*
*afraid of facing Tin Man's hatred towards her now because of that incident*
*cannot express her fear, just cries*

*sighs*
*notices the shards are gone*
*puzzled*
*walks into the main room with Flower, sits down, still holding her, and leans back*
*gently strokes the miniature woman's hair*

*feels the warmth and caressing and calms down a bit*
*rests on the girl's chest and slowly dozes off*

*watches the miniature woman's face*
<If she will finally accept me when she's back to her old size?>
*examines Flower's tiny, but fully structured hands*
<I wonder what happened to her. I don't recall her being so down after rebirth.>
*looks through the door into Herby's room*
<That must have been a horrible fight! And he won, obviously.>
*remembers that Herby once also used magic - at the cost of his own health*
<Is that how he beat her? He used magic against her? That would at least explain both his injuries and her defeat. Maybe it also explains the change in her appearance.>
*sighs*
<And all just because I was so stupid and went into the house again!>
