Riding home one evening, a horseman tumbles into a ditch and bumps his head. The man is uninjured but when he crawls out, his horse is nowhere to be seen. Staggering home where he lives alone, he finds his horse in a locked stable, with the saddle and harness put away. What's going on?

Riddles like this are never very good :lol: because there are so many possible answers but there is usually only one that follows all of the statements in the riddle :D

the most obvious answer is it's someone elses horse. The riddle says he was riding home but didn't mention that he was on HIS horse

so was nighthawk correct or not?
