Mr. GiMiC, the keeper man! Very long time no see there :p

The game has really evolved alot, with active players quickly mastering the game's new possibilities, displaying quite an amazing skill depth that only a game like this can provide. The scoring possibilities feel endless with the currently played version.

Long live deathball!

Hmm thought I'd stick my nose in again... first time in a while.... since I last posted on the first page :o. Funny how this game keeps haunting me!

Anyway! big hi! and I hope the future of the game (What ever it's gonna be called) is gonna be good. ESP as the U3 Engine and steamworks are working hand in hand now... If it was to be released on steam, I may even come back ;) and the community would bring a quick injection of life back into it.

Anyway... once the Mrs has finally passed her driving test, we're off to go see Axl (remember the TEZC co-leader? Now leader @ www.tezc.co.uk) We still keep in contact... even tho he keeps making comments about my wife in her nurses uniform...

Speak soon

So for all you oldschoolers that are posting here;
do the same as I did, reinstall UT2004, reinstall DB, join IRC and play some pickupgames. It's still a great game and a lot of fun \o/

I'm only on temporary hiatus. I don't think I've had a computer in the last 7 years without DB installed. :D

I still remember all those nights. Last years, finding 6 players for a pickup became really hard.
Since 2009, I play Red Orchestra in an italian multigaming clan, some of my mates are now good friends too but I can't forget this community.
I'm happy to hear good news from you all.
Take care.

DI. We're still playing on #deathball (some nights are busier than others admittedly :D). Deathball is still being developed (unofficially) and we even get the odd new map. Drop by and have a game or two, if only for old time's sake. :D

LOL... old-skool ftw.

Good to see lots of the old crowd popping up.

Just checking to see if deathball is still going. Might even download it if I can find UT2004 :D

I miss the good old days (nights) on the 123/4 6v6 server. Great games nearly every game.

Has it really been that long :o.

Not much time for gaming these days... had three kids since i last played db :o

Some1 should organise an old-timer all-stars game

\o\ \o/ /o/

Just like the rest of you I can't believe the Deathball community is still alive and kicking. I am not sure anyone remembers me but I loved to play with 3dg|rr and of course all the other clans too.
