I don't know why I bother, really. Everytime I think I've amassed the data and come to a firm conclusion about something, someone tells me I'm wrong. Obviously I'm not cut out for this.

Yes, but - *pauses*

There was water. A huge wave. Everything was destroyed. Except where I was. My family survived on the second floor of a hotel. We had some friends on the lower floor. They all died. Along with thousands of other people. We just watched people clinging to rocks in desperate bids to survive.
