ut2003 was messing up as in not getting anywhere on bootup, so i reinstalled it. now every time i run it (even in safe mode) i get this error.

UT2003 Build UT2003_Build_[2003-04-07_17.42]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2603 MHz with 1023MB RAM
Video: RADEON 9200 SERIES (6396)

General protection fault!

History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

any idea why? last thing i installed was my 5.1 sound card but nothing else has had trouble with it, and the cards drivers are the latest from about a month ago. though im just going to try updating again.

well i reinstalled 2225. even redownloaded it after trying but the moment the screen resolution changes the game makes a "dumm" noise, windows error box window sound.

now thinking about it this is a new monitor from christmas, standard 17" but i dont see how that can cause the problem.

cant play it for now then unless someone outwhere had any ideas. :/

...

edit: what do you know, that worked XD

no idea why it messed up the other times though, being a working copy installed a good 2 months ago not loading then after a reinstall did the same problem...yet another reinstall worked..

:hmmmz:

anyway, problem (re)solved :p
