I've been having some trouble with my DB recently...and I seem to recall a discussion about this b4...

When i connect to a server at DB my ping goes from around 50 ish to 999+...as soon as i disconnect, it goes back down to 50 ish...

any1 any ideas...

Yep, ive been having the same problems for a while and it stops when it wants to. Its pretty fucked up annoying and theres nothing i could do about it, wait some days and its over, i heard some others had the same problems. Just be patient

type 'flush' in the console. Usually that helps me out if i get a lot of lag

These days I have about 180 pings during evenings, and sometimes this goes up to 230, and always with a huge flux, sometimes up to a 50 ping fluctuation!

Then if I leave DB and try another game like ET, ping is just back to good ol' 30, 40 or 50 O_o

I try flush, but it never helps =(

Default key is '
if you don't have a key for it then you'll prolly have to bind it again in your user.ini, eg. 'K - Toggleconsole' or consoletoggle. (choose your own key )

Can't remember which one of them it is, but if that doesn't help then i recommend a reinstall

push type then delete the say command, then bind it to a key (set input key command variable) like chubbs said

^^ push tab, gives you it without the word say

P.S. i already bound showscores to tab...as i kept pressing it due to excessive cs play...
