Yea, this is the basic place you'll meet the DB community, and on irc there are people from the db community (probably more than here)

irc.quakenet.org #dbpickup #deathball are a good places to start, dbpickup is where we all add up to a game bot, then we play a db game. Like a public, but organized, and higher skilled, most of us learned there once we knew the basics I think

its always suspicious when somebody with 1 post is looking for a clan and says he is a good player
