Dont know if you have a specific forum/threads etc for discussing beta issues, bt ill post here, someone is bound to read it.
The changes(as made) in 1.9b, they arent like gonna stay like that are they?
I mean, no offense, but dB is now ruined from the once great mod it was(v1.9). Sure it had bugs, but it was fun.
The new graphical changes mainly that spark when you volley the ball, and those smoke effects when jumping etc., just doesnt fit well with dB, I cant play beta, as it just annoys me now.
Also, the sounds I could do without, I know its a lotta work, and I support the growth and development of dB, but all that should have been changed is the bugs, fix those.
I like the awards system, nice feature, keep that, but as for everything else, sorry, but it just isnt dB. :S
My rant be over...I have to stop taking so much drugs, anyways.
1.9 > 1.9b (dont change it!) Cant get a bloody game now unless it beta, which means no more dB for me x_X.

Plus there seems to be a change in speed of ball when volleyd + is the hit ratio changed? Just seems strange to play now :S

Every time a new version comes out, there are always people who essentially say what you have just said here AvAeh.
I think there is only *one* time when the older version was better than the new one (1.4b -> 1.5).
I'm especially surprised that *anyone* thinks 1.9 is better than what will be 1.9b, it really is light years ahead of any older version in terms of gameflow and chrome.

Honestly, ball sparks do annoy me that much, just cant play with it.
Ball does move slower when volleyd, lots have commented on this very same issue during games. Just doesnt seem to act like it use to etc. Strange really...
Im playing the beta, but I just cant get used to it, to me its not as good as 1.9 was. Plays differently, feels different, and I dont mean in a good way :S

Honestly, sorry to sit here and rant on about what I dont like, but it honestly does affect how I play, those sparks and that smoke :S
Oh, you know if you just drop the ball using lmb, your movement is slowed before you can go to proper speed again. Is this a bug or has this been implemented on purpose? I know i was in previous versions, was just curious.
