Timing for db for 2k4

I am wondering when are you planing on geting db out for 2k4. I ask becuase it seems to me that it the timing is very important. If it is put out to early ppl won't play it cuz they are too busy with the reg game and if too late other mods will steal the spot light.
what are ppl's thoughts?

yeah i reckon wait just a little bit for 1.9b and then do a mega PR spam when it does release to hook some new players who werent into the whole ut2003 thing. "tweaked to perfection" "winner of MSUC for best mod" "incredible teamplay" etc etc etc i think PR will play a huge role for hooking the new players
also need to get some of that infrastructure for newbies like that newbie pickup and whatever was in mind...

it all depends on "when it's done" and "when we have 2k4"
exactly zero people of the main crew have the game.

I thought the mighty RaGester got you it sent early
Use the demo to code

then realise you'll have to do it all again if the full games different

(like i'd know

)

I think DB for u2k4 can still wait some month, giving ppl the time to get bored about new mods...
Be honestly, ut2k4 is the copy of 2k3 + 2 new mods--- it has been a simply commercial operation ... and the only good reason in order to do a Deathball for 2k4 is that new ppl will join David's Mod, but hey, b4 we must be sure that we won't lose old players of 2k3
BTW,
Is really possible to code it for the 2k4 Demo??

if it were me i would buy 2k4 and start coding right away so then you are able to release it when @ the best time and release it without a shit load a bugs (becuase you won't be rushed)... that is if you care about the survival of db
i still play db but i want to get the 4 or 5 gigs of 2k3 off my harddrive
btw ons and as are well worth the purchase plus the game just feels better than 2k3

S'not possible to code for the 2k4 demo unless you bytehack the engine. Which isn't advisable... has anyone tried this Unreal TV thing out yet?

4ng3l, wait some days or a week, then we should have a version (beta) out that works on 2k4
