Dodgeball for Deathball?

I just had a rather interesting idea for the Deathball mod. It could easily be done through the Team Deathmatch gametype, but I figure it could prove to be interesting enough for Deathball.
The game is "Bombardment," more commonly known as dodgeball. In the center of a Bombardment map are three balls. There are no melee weapons or anything (there is no use for them), but you still have the ability to request a pass. The object of Bombardment is either to A). Rack up the score with your team by hitting the opponent players or B). Be on the team with the last members (or member, in certain cases) standing.
The three balls are in the center of the map; there are only three. Once you snag them, the ball is in play unless it goes out of bounds. If it goes out of bounds, the team that had last posession of that ball gets it. The balls must hit an opponent, which kills them; the ball will bounce around for whomever gets it first. The only rules are that the red team cannot go into blue territory (they commit suicide) and the blue team cannot go into blue territory.
Let me continue this in a few minutes.
