ut2004.log would be more helpful I think.
Report it as explained by Makush in his thread.

mailed ut2004.log to makush

but the log has to be right from after a crash. otherwise its worthless

We need server-crash logs. According to makush, that would help.

At the moment, all players crash randomly on map changes, just not makush and me. I wonder what we have, what you guys don't. Ok, makush keeps saying the guys don't have the brain to install it properly, but I guess some of you do ;) and you crash too.
Well, it will be fixed for sure before this is no more beta.

Next time I'll send a log. This is just for info. I also crash sometimes on map switches (instant action only so far). It is random. I've crashed on several different maps. However, it is random and not map specific. I have been able to play all the maps that at one point crashed. I've crashed four or five times (less than 10% of map switches).

Nah, it's not an installation problem since I have it too. This will probably need attention from Epic, because the crashing happens in Epic's garbage collector, which is in Epic's native code. I.e. Deathball is doing something wrong, but the Unreal Engine should be able handle situation in a helpful way. At the moment the crashing information we get tells nothing about what's wrong in Deathball, just that there's a "problem" when purging garbage.

Is this ALL maps, or UT2003 maps being played on UT2004 servers?
I've noticed random servercrashes too.

I have been testing this, well since i noticed it and i think if you are playing only the 3 maps in instant action, no matter what order you put it in or how many, it will crash sooner or later. but on the other hand, online i noticed that if u have just one map in the list then it works great, but it still crashes if u have a change.

edit: this is the error i get... incase u need it again and i would be glad to give u the log if i knew how or which log.
