What should [1234] do with their DB server?

At the moment we have 4 UT2004 servers and 1 UT2003 server. The UT2003 server is only still up and running because of DeathBall. The question I'm putting to you is...
When DeathBall gets released for UT2004 (ie out of beta) what should we do with the UT2003 server thats is currently running DB-Cube?
At the moment I'm thinking of killing the server and replacing it with DB2004 Cube and have one of the other public UT2004 servers running DB2004 as well. What I don't know is how many don't have UT2004 and will probably end up topping themselves because they can't play on our server.
Anybody saying "give the server to me!" etc will get ignored:blabla:

make it 2k4 Cube/Bowl definately, there are already almost more players and noobs on the 2.0beta than on the 1.9b servers.

nah, i'd say move it to 2k4 as a cube, because deathball for 2k3 aint gonna b worked on, and the whole league system is moving to 2k4 (afaik) so eventually, 2k3 will become obselete.

what about a 2k4 + mutator server, well at least have one server that can be mutated for a bit of fun and change, example a 9 jump mutator or 150% speed mut. ;p

Yeah, instead of a UT2K3 server that randomly fills up - there'll be a UT2K4 server that randomly fills up

i would say ut2k4 db as well (runnign cube)
a lot of servers are needed (even if empty at frist) to attract new players.. if new players see only 2 sevrers run this mod.. they won't bother joining.

If new players see 15 servers, with all either 0 or 1 players..they won't bother joining
If they see 3 active servers with each at least 5..winwin :p

if a newcomer sees a mod that only has 3 servers.. he knows this mod wont survive...
if he sees 15 empty servers.. then he figures mayeb these servers fill up fromt ime to time... and commits to the mod.

Do you really think that's the way most new players approach the mod? :>
They'll see no place to play..play another gametype or mod, and forget about DB after a couple of repeats
