1st let's get one thing straight. This map is for VO, not reg, so don't complain about the goals, I think they are fun (especially David and Fizzy [remember DB-Touchdown ?]). Anyway it's a fun map I made I think in 1.7 or 1.8, but never released it. Has wall in middle of field and jumppads on either side. If you people complain about this map like all the other ones I made I'm gonna quit makin em. B/c this was one of my best efforts back in the day. :p

Gameplay looks interesting, but the visuals are ugly.

I agree with armagon, mainly lookin at the screen shots ist the choise of walltexture. the repeating the the sun holding his stomac looks weird. i'd rather just see a brick wall or cave wall then that cuz it looks outa place. like somthing you really wouldn't see anywhere.

change the wall texture and it might be pretty spiffy

edit:

oh and i'd suggest on the fence middle part selecting each face and settign the alignment to global or wahtever its called. on the 2nd screen shot the fense patter looks really which would be fixed by doing that. its been awhile since i maped but i know its somthign like that :D

you people have to be kidding me. this map rules. gah don't hate on it without even downloading it and playing it, screenshots are bad. always.

Bad screenshots don't make the map any less ugly. For an example of a non-ugly map, click here !

in no aspect, its just less awful :)


bounty, i mean.......what the hell were you thinking when you put the girder texture on this thin in the middle......its a) not aligned
its b) translucuent and you can look out of level
c) girder stairs with holes as big as the ppl who have to walk on it?

and the same girder tex for the lines on the ground?
its not getting worse than that
if you didn't notice it yet, mapping is WORK, maps are not done in 10 minutes
rather 10 days

omg you people who hasnt heard of the future, the stairs are cloaked, its aligned good enough, cmon, what allignment does a friggen wire need? translucent was a excellent idea, it allows you to see what is going on on the other side of the map, unlike some maps where solid objects prevent it, though some of the textures are not alligned as well as they might have been i still think its a great playable map, just because some people like a different style, not just the usual Mr. M, you dont have to diss them for it, it was a great attempt, granted all maps can use improvement, even yours. (ESPECIALLY MINE!) (i still dont know what textures would work together well on my map!!)
