Hi, I just downloaded DB for UT2003, cept every time I try to join a server, it says that I need to upgrade to the most recent patch. Which I have (version 2555 or something like that). I checked the cersion the server is using, and it's using v3236, but isn't that for UT2004???

I'm very confused, so if anyone can help I would be greatful.

wow. i wouldn't expect to see many ut2003 servers around. perhapse its listing 2k4 servers accidentally on your game browser. I know all seeing eye for me lists both 2k3 and 2k4 in the same one for some odd reason.

get 2k4, 2k3 db won't be around much longer i predict.

then that is most likely a 2k4 db server with the 3226 patch, there are very few servers left for 2k3 db, most have been upgraded to 2k4 db. the servers will still show up in the 2k3 list though, as they are still deathball servers. I would get 2k4 if u are looking to play this game with others :p

Aye. The BuD2k3 server is only active by request only now.. it's 2k4 the rest of the time.. and frankly, noone's asked it to revert for a while. Well, butt has demanded we all return to 2003.. with little success.

no he didn't it does that on mine, too. It displays all deathball servers 2003and2004 alike. The only way to tell which is which in 2003 is to click and find out. . . or remember..

Does anyone happen to know of any UT2003 DB servers though? And whats the dirrerence to DB in UT2004, the UT engine's still the same (I think), and there's no huge graphical update, and I'm pretty sure DB doesn't use vehicles, so how does the 2004 version differ over 2003...

the net code has been improved on so they're no longer compatible i hope you get 2k4 soon i'd love to see some new players

yep 2k3 shows all db-servers. But i think 2k4-servers got N/A as ping...

we have a changes list to show the changes between the versions.
