Deathball stats?

Hey all. For those of you who were unaware of it, there's a really nice UT2003/2004 stats system available out there called UTStatsDB. It's available here:
http://ut2003stats.sourceforge.net/
While I really love the work the author put into it, the product doesn't come close to taking care of DeathBall related stats. To see what I mean, check out my server's Stats:

I know TV was promising a Stats system. Guys, how far along is it in development?

I wonder how hard it could be to export how often a certain player got first place on any of the F3 awards..
..I don't know anything about that stuff though
And err..I didn't know TV was promising a stat system ;p

i mean, what can we do against epics stat system that only counts kills?

Oh yeah, I clearly recall the notice about external stats logging. Was looking forward to that one.
As for Epic's stats - they will do two things for us. Diddly and Squat. It looks like that part will have to be redone. The generic kill clicker is useless to us, the f1/f3 stats are being collected at least.. then discarded.. (wahhh!) Gotta be some way to get the game's stats out of the server, no?

Ahh, cool. Now how do we get this server side and what does all that mean?

could you export this file to a location on the server after the game in done where they could be added together to make one large stat file located on the server?
edit: whouldnt that be simple data addition? I recall from my highschool Comp Sci classes that simple addition is extremely simple.
Also, if the file is made read only on the client side after being written at the end of the game, it would be imposible to spoof stats. (as in, immediatly created as a read only than transfered to the servers DB within seconds).

Bumpage cause it's too important to let slide.
What's a sport or a league without stats? Without crowns for your top defenders, attackers, keepers, anything?!?!
How can Vegas set odds?!
Stats draw attention to the finer points of gameplay. You will see much more focus on the fundementals when/if the VO kids start seeing how poor(less) they compare to even the greenest rookies that are devotees of the real Deathball (reg). For example.. in the turnovers department.. hmm? Oy! Ball control isn't even a concern in that sloppy style of play. I think stats can help bring that back around.
Please give it some more attention. If possible, mimic the output style that epic uses which tracks players by guid/statsID instead of just a nick.
Also we can look into OLStats and try something similar to that..
