Before I start I'm not too sure how banning from servers and stuff works. But there was a guy called Crange who came onto the 1234 server at around 1.30am this morning. Starting spamming teamsay with blanks and doing stuff simply to lag everyone out of the game, and it worked. Server became unplayable and everyone had to leave. Kept saying stuff like "bow down", and "powa" etc etc
Please can you ban this guy from all servers

Most GS 'admins' don't have access to stuff like that ¬_¬
And the real admins just only let us run around and ban people in-game
It works fine, but not for these things /o\
All I could really do for such a thing is tell mobe to ban a certain ID or whatever..
Imaginos: try PM-ing the-mobe and ask him to join in
It'd be great if the GS.net servers joined in on this.

There's some admins with reservations about this.. and understandably so, which is why it's important that the right people be in the position to manage the ban pool.
When it comes to GS, that would be great - provided they chose to be in the db-community group vs the gameservers group. The DB-Community group would be the contact for deathball bans vs the existing gameservers group which deals with the myriad of other gametypes.. (no need for us DB servers to be concerned with IG aimbot bans)
I was apprehensive about a system like this as well. Then I realized that it just automates what have to do manually on my own servers as well as the NA servers that I help out with. If one of the others in the db-community group bans someone for what looks like weak justification, he will be called on it.. If you have a personal gripe with someone, hey, you can do what you want on your own server (local ban), but don't make a global ban for personal gripes.
