You can quickly get back to your own goal by switching teams and back again. It seems the spawn delay put in place to prevent this sort of cheat doesn't effect swapping teams.

There used to just be a delay on swapping back once you have swapped, i think this is even in normal 2k4... maybe it was in 2k3, i cant remember too well

In DB for 2k3 you couldn't switch teams quickly, you had to wait 5 seconds or so, like you have to wait now to switch back after spawn, and after reconnect

Now, if you don't spawn, you can just change back and spawn, no delay at all..and you're right back on defense

We had a team-change delay in 2003, but it got fucked up in 2004 (like so many other things)
it will be put back in

the cheat is nice *g* and it dont work every time

eg.:


Blue team 3 player and red team 4 you cant change team

I think people would notice in a clan game...

its fixed again.
