Hi a friend of me has some problems with deathball. Have looked at the search but didnt find something about that.
The 1st problem is everytime he starts deathball or a game all the options everywere in deathball resets themself.
The 2nd problem is if he makes an server and we play the goals dont count.

Can someone help?

2nd problem: you have 'Training mode' enabled.
Look somewhere under options before you start the game and disable it.

Maybe Volley Only is on and you're trying to score normal goals?
Maybe Training Mode is enabled like Sixty said.

Although I can't help you with the 1st problem (try editing the .ini's directly if you can?), the 2nd problem should be easy to fix.
Note that you can scroll down when choosing the game's options/parameters! It's easily overlooked, and there are some options there that could cause your problem

The 2nd Problem is no longer sixtys tip has helped. The 1st problem is not editable over inis couse the problem is only that all checkboxes reset themself to on so all Checkboxes (include the practice mode) where on but we dont find the problem why this hapens.

are the ini files write protected?
are you (him ) starting db properly with ut2004.exe -mod=deathball ?

No the files are not write Protectet. He and i start the Mod over the link at the start menu. He has the problem i not.

Also wir haben das beide über die Verknüpfung im Startmenü gestartet er hat das Problem das sich bei jedem Klick in die optionen Neustart etc die Checkboxen alle Aktivieren. Sprich wenn er in Misc die Boxen deaktiviert zu player geht und wieder zu misc sind die boxen wieder aktiv. Wir haben aber keinen dunst warum das so is weil das nur den db mod betrifft.

Sagt mir leider auch nix, ist die erste Beschwerde darüber.
Was ist mit 'ner UT2004 Neuinstallation + DB?
Also alles neu...?

Haben wir versucht Problem is exakt das gleiche.
