:p Sup everybody, just saying Hi...!

Are u looking for a clan or is there any other reason for posting in the clan forum:D

I wouldn't mind joining a clan... i'm a decent keep most of the time... I have school starting tho soon... Gonna finish up the rest of my college schooling... So my time availability mite be severely affected... So I havn't made any HUGE attempts at dedicating myself to a team... Another thing is I don't have IRC so i can't really join the DB channels n talk n shit.... However downloading IRC is real easy... *shrugs* Just a lil thing right now... Plus it seems that there's a lot of play on Euro servers and what not, and I usually only get good pings on the "Fo" server, and "BuD2k4"... The other ones i get shit ping, and therefore my keeping skills are severely affected, n i suck balls...

Give me low ping i should be ok, hah... But givin that fact, when it comes down to a game, i mite be shit...

Another thing is, i'm really used to playing VO games... And I feel i can be a better keeper in VO games... I RARELY play reg games nemore... So i'm not sure how to defend against it. *shrugs*

LoL... anyways, i'm pointing out my strengths and weakness's, n if for some reason i get proposals, i'll consider it...

But to answer u'r question...

Yes i'm puttin myself out on the availabilty market just to see what prospects come up... But if nothing happens, i won't be hurt...

I just had no other idea where 2 post.... I just wanted 2 say Hi to all those that i play with most... n i figured this was the place where 2 do that... I'm sorry if my assumptions were wrong...

VO = Ebonics

It makes for weak keepers and doesn't stress how important teamwork, boosting, passing, defense, patience, radar awareness and ball control are.

VO play is not conducive to the development of all the essential skills and fundementals required in Deathball. For this reason, clans that play Deathball with any degree of enthusiasm find VO players very undesirable.

I hope you will step back and reconsider your choice to support VO play over Full Deathball. You will find that actual teamplay is far more rewarding than being in a server full of hammer spamming ballchasers.

edit: BTW, your UT2004 server browser has a tab called "CHAT". That IS irc. Connect to a server called "irc.us.gamesurge.net" and then the channel is "#dbcommunity" or "#dbmixer"

I used to be a awesome keep back in the 2003 days (played under nick "Parental Advizory", when it was mainly reg play neways... N i SUCKED horribly at the Volley saves... Now shit's changed cuz it seems more n more players in 2004 want to play VO... N so when i picked up DB again, that's the conditions i was "trained" under.. So i became good at stopping it, and found it a lot easier, cuz if u cover the go 2 guy most of the time, u can pick off the pass or stop the volley...

I'm not really looking to join a clan for sure, cuz i doubt my reliability, n i don't wanna be a huge letdown to all my fellow teammates...

I'm just really a person who loves DB, who wanted to be a lil more involved in the community...

I just figured since i've had enough pplz ask me to go on IRC n participate in Mixer games, i figured I mite give the forums a shot 1st, seeings how i don't have IRC or know where to go or what 2 do once i get it...

I really enjoy playing DB, I think it's a wonderful mod, and i hope they don't go n fuck up the keeping aspect of the game like they did last time i quit back in the 2003 days... I'm not all that great on the offensive part of the game...
