I remember for weeks on end in 2.0 when there would always be a handful of NA people in the pubs at this time of night. Well those days are gone I guess seeing as 2.1 pretty much put a knife in the back of the NA vo community.

And I'm still waiting for a legitimate reason as to why the self volley speed was reduced.... don't even try to lay that ego crap down, a self volley is no different from taking a shot in non vo. Maybe we should just remove the goals and pass the ball around for 30 min. That would reduce egoing.

And if you say vo sucks, that's great, don't play it. Leaving the self volley speed as it was isn't hurting your non vo games.

What would you think if Davidm was replaced by some guy that thought VO was the only way to play deathball and decided to reduce any shot aimed at the goal to near useless levels? Now maybe you'll understand how some of us feel.

Uh, because it's not a leaving thread? I'm not an attention whore, i'm just expressing my opinion. The main point of the thread is just to point out that the 2.1 changes have pretty much stifled NA public server activity.

Personally, I think he has a good point. How about making the self volley speed normal during VO games?

It's a change that has already been made according to DavidM

I don't see why these people keep whining about it and totally ignore what DavidM says ¬_¬

I thought David already agreed to that.

I personally believe that VO and Reg should feel the same.

So if he's gonna change VO back, he may as well change Reg back too.

With certain members of the community doing everything they can to fragment what is still a small group of players, I think a consistent feel to the game is important.

But Viper, cmon, we have to sleep sometime and 3:30 AM is a good time to be asleep in NA. Most of us have jobs or school on Monday.

Btw, M already said it was getting changed back for VO.

Keep expressing your opinion, which happens to be the same as mine, and hopefully we can get the self-volley power back to normal.

I find it very hard to believe all these people just 'up and disappeared' when self-volley speed was changed in 2.1. Players adapt to the game they enjoy if they are truly fans.

2.1 is the first version I've ever played and I think it's great.

What I don't get is how ungrateful everyone is. This is without a doubt the most unique mod to date. I want more sports, less shoot-em-up. Everyone acts like you owe them something, despite the fact I'm sure you've spent tons of hours of your life on this project.

I think messy should take his head out of DavidM's a$$...
