That's not technically true. Well, it is, but it's been taken so far out of context these days.

Gates wasn't referring to any computer that may ever exist, he was only referring to the computers of the day, where there was a physical limit (640K) due to the design of the processors (the 8088 iirc). So his *software* limit of 640K, was in fact enough for anybody.
