Does anyone have any idea..

...why my MSN keeps crashing when I open a conversation window whenever I'm logged in to my gmail account? o_O
It doesn't do it with my hotmail account and I've seen people with gmail-adresses on MSN..so I don't get it
Any ideas?

I uninstalled both MSN Messenger 6.2.0137 and MSN Plus! 3
I have the newest version of MSN Messenger installed again now (which was, for as far as I know, 6.2.0137) and it seems to work.
Time to check if it works with MSN Plus!
I'll try and keep you updated for anyone who gets the same problem
edit2: Installed MSN Plus! 3.20.something ¬_¬ works like a charm.
Still dunno what was wrong =\
Was a consistant bug though, even after rebooting etc.

Although it's commonly marked as malware, the spyware is obviously optional, and there's no proof of spyware being installed after not having agreed to any of it (which will allow you to use the program fully).

exactly why i removed it... i have speedy to blame for spamming this queer quimed dancer on my screen.. crashed the game... froze my pc... restarted... fucked the game up. gg msn :O

Instructions:
1) Sign off and completely shut down MSN Messenger.
2) Go to your MSN Messenger program directory (usually something like C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger).
3) Rename msgslang.dll (eg. to msgslangbackup.dll) and then place the msgslang.dll included in this zip-file in the MSN Messenger program directory.
4) Go to your application data directory (usually something like C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger (BETA)\<random number>).
5) Delete all data in the sub-directory Wink (repeat this step for all numbers in the MSN Messenger (BETA) directory)
6) Start MSN Messenger, sign on and send the Wink called "Timothy's Wink Blocker" (a blue, devil duck) in those conversations you want to disable Winks in.
