To be part of a special Deathball occasion (Deathball's 2nd Birthday) On 24/10/2004

Starting from 21.30 CET Come to #Dbpickup on Quakenet using IRC, to celebrate the milestone, for the "MOD we love"...
The topic, will not just be focused on Deathball Matchs, but for a gathering of past and present.
If everything goes according to plan, we will be playing mainly 5v5 games.
We wont be playing 3v3, as we intend to have a mini Tournament around 23.30. In which teams are created on the night.

So Dballers, all of you, be there for a Hall of Fame night.

HOW ABOUT, TO CELEBRATE DB'S BIRTHDAY, YOU ALL STOP BEING 1337ISTS AND PLAY ON A PUBLIC SERVER FOR ONCE

i could probably show up, 1:30pm on a sunday, no problem at all

MAn, it's just not an event based on matches, we can play some pickup, others can just play on pubblic ... i hope all of you will be there, so we will have so many ppl to fill every server, pubblic and not

if you tie up 6 players at a time, thats 4 potential 'beginners' not playing because an otherwise half empty server would actually be empty!

Ideally vets should play 4 v 4 on regular servers and leave two open spots for nubs and still get a fun game.

Rino, I think the plan is to shut down the pickup channels for the day whic in my oh so humble opinion is a great idea

Hopefully this whole thing works out, and we can get some good reg games going (haven't played reg in about a week )
