I am astounded by the number of people in this column that actually still believe that Bush will be 'tough on terror'. Toughness and arrogance are not the same thing. Under the cover of fear and the rhetoric of evil, Bush and his supporters are fast shaping the 'war on terror' into what is essentially a religious and ideological conflict, the like of which the world has never seen. I hope for the entire world's sake that Kerry wins.
