I have encountered a bug in single player though no one else has mentioned it . when i'm playing, I lose control of my player, it's fine for a minute or so but then it's start's, it's like it stores my key strokes in a buffer then executes them and i can sit there and takes my hands away from the keyboard and my player keeps on moving. I'm gonna post this on the bugs forum aswell. Multi-player fine.

Sounds more like system lagging ---- does it all the time? or you running winRar in the background?
Tried starting new single player-ish stuff? Or does it do it to all?

I have that sometimes /o\
1 or 2 seconds it just keeps walking in a direction and the mouse blocks.
I think it's caused by shitty keyboards that can't take too many keypresses at once

Thanks for your time and info, i'll look into it. Only seems to do it in single player mode, played online in pub server for a good 2hrs and it was fine. Doesn't happen with any other game i've got.

AMD Athlon xp 3200+
512mb DDR 400
256mb GForce fx 5950
decent enuff, could do with another stick of ram.

no one *needs* more than 512 RAM now anyway, doesnt give a huge performance boost (in Doom 3 at least).
Hmmmmmmmmmmz. Verdy Verdy Oddz.
Check your processes when running SP, if its doing it with nothing eating the CPU in the background... panic, and just blame DavidM, like so:
GG DavidM!
Prob not his fault, but its just the rules.

it does because instead of taking the time of writing the memory to the hard drtive, then having to go find it again when you need it it can jsut stay on the sticks kthx.
