North American opinions anyone? Although I am inclined to agree with these guys on this one, could be funny the first two times but things like this can get dangerously repetitive. Although, no harm giving it a test drive and see how people react to it. That's what you run a server for =P

How about with recorded deathball tips for those noobs that can't seem to read what people take the time to type to them?

Thinking of how to do this reminds me of the old "Intro to Deathmatch" map for the original UnrealTournament. It led you by the hand in doing each necessary basic skill.

yes we need a matinee. it's much smaller than downloading a video.

Or one of those live tutorial modes where you have to achieve certain goals, like boosting, double boosting, shooting, volleying etc.

Could be combined with the suggestion in another thread about the newbies-only server..so that you have to complete this to switch to the 'adult' Deathball servers

IIRC, ONP had a nice in-game tutorial for learning how to command your Nali 'squad'.
